Il volo is a comfortable, small, slim, non-culky seat. Its precious finishes make it almost a piece of furniture and design, an object that has apractical but also an aesthetic function: A sculpture that interprets a seat. The structure is designed by a sinuous geometry, dominated by a central curved surface that reminds a wing, ready to fly. This was the project idea for the trio of two tenors and a baritone composed by Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble. IL VOLO. The opportunity was the special tour for their first ten years of career, which started from the magical city of matera. The special “Material” finish reminds the Sasso Barisano, a typical and famous stone of that area.
