Home interiors
I almost always come up with customers who wish to experience their domestic space in a very personal way, following their habits and their lifestyle, but above all the emotions that they associate with living. Houses of this type can hardly be dressed only with standard furniture, same for all. And it is for spaces like these, that I best express my projects.
My work always starts with a meeting: I like building intimate relationships, where we look each other in the eyes and speak sincerely.
The first meeting is not binding, but if we like each other, I’ll start working on the project brief and on the first processes, strictly by hand.
In the brief, I will be guided by the keywords that the customer quotes in a disordered way and I will try to find the path. I then translate them into my language, that of the kinestetic sensations and forms that populate the space.
And with those first sketches on paper, we formalize the collaboration in an equally sincere way.
From the approval of the first processes, I start looking for the definitive mood: I model the project in 3d and I render it to understand the lights, colors and correct proportions.
In this phase, I work with the artisans to define the overall construction costs in detail, aligning them with the budget given by the customer.
This is the moment when the project starts taking shape: the architectural drawing is translated into technical drawing and each furniture is engineered. I never do magic alone, but it is the result of a long-term cooperation.
The precious artisans I usually work with. All our projects were born in a climate of mutual estimate and support, weaved by endless dialogues and refined by a maniac attention to detail.
Once approved, I entrust your technical project into their expert hands.
While the furniture is taking shape in the artisan workshops, I like updating the customer with pictures from the site and keeping track of each construction phase.
I am also there during the assembly and – if necessary – even after, for the finishing.
In short, I dedicate all my care to an idea that comes to life, because the greatest joy is to see it becoming an inhabited space.
