From little grocery to a gourmet shop: an evolution also in retail design.

The project’s inspiration

Paolo brunetti has built his job on a passion: a tireless research for gourmet excellences. Paolo Brunetti has built his job on a passion: a tireless research for gourmet excellences. He has travelled kilometers and kilometers, starting from his workshop in piubega to discover specialties by the skilled hands of artisans and wine-growers. This network of often unknown streets, back and forth until they get lost, has inspired brunetti’s renovation project. In fact, in the furnishings you can find the sinuous curves of the roads travelled by Paolo.

When design rhymes with reorganizing

For this project I have chosen natural materials, high-quality raw materials, related to the vocation of a gourmet workshop. I preferred raw wood and iron, unpainted but treated exclusively with natural waxes, so that they could “Breathe” and Age in a physiological way, like a good wine or a good cheese. The highlight is undoubtedly a table, which reminds in its curved lines the movement of the streets and helps people to move with more ease.

Winning in retail design

Paolo Brunetti, the owner, often tells me: “We won!” His enthusiasm fills my heart, but the greatest satisfaction for me is to witness the positive impact of our project on his business, which is becoming an increasingly relevant reference in the gastronomic world In northern italy.
